专家简介
Elizabeth graduated from Columbia University and received her PhD from Harvard University. She trained with Dr. Charles Roberts at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Her research was among the first to show that pediatric tumors characterized by mutations in chromatin remodelers are genomically stable and instead driven by epigenetic deregulation of key target genes. She joined the AACR shortly after the launch of Cancer Discovery in 2011 as the founding Science Writer and rose through the editorial ranks to become the journal’s Executive Editor in 2019. She has been named as one of the 40 Under 40 in Cancer (2021), one of the 100 Influential Women in Oncology: Key Opinion Leaders to follow on Social Media (2023), and one of the Oncoinfluencers to Follow on Social Media (2024). As Executive Editor of Cancer Discovery, her top priorities are to work collaboratively with the global cancer research community to quickly disseminate important findings and amplify new ways of thinking to advance our understanding of cancer and benefit patients as quickly as possible.
